FW9 has begun to open testing applications to the public. You need to fill in some information and do a few surveys before submitting it for review. I received an email confirming the approval about 2 hours after I applied, and then I could log in and download FW9 using my registered Adobe Account.

Be happy. I thought Fireworks would disappear after being acquired by Adobe, but it seems that it is still alive.
