Canon IP1600 ink cartridge restores ink volume count display after adding ink

Wednesday on July 25th, 2007Life

Why restore the ink amount display? Because after you add ink, you don't know when to add it again. After you restore the ink amount, you can press the ink amount prompt to control the next ink addition time, add ink again and resume. If the ink volume display cannot be restored, you can only estimate the remaining ink volume.

Note that if your ink cartridge tells you that it has run out of ink before adding ink, there is no way to recover it.

(The printer must be turned on during operation).

First download an IP1000 driver and install it, select a port at random during installation, and then enter the "Control Panel"-"Printers and Fax"-"Canon PIXMA iP1000"-"Properties"-"Port" Select the port of IP1600. Check the corresponding ink tank "Execution" in the "Control Panel"-"Printers and Fax"-"Canon PIXMA iP1000"-"Properties"-"Maintenance"-"Ink Counter Reset" to restore the ink volume display.

Finally, right-click on the "Control Panel"-"Printers and Faxes"-"Canon iP1600" to "Set IP1600 as Default Printer".
