YesterdayNotes

Monday on February 20th, 2006Life

On the weekend, it is as usual to sleep in all morning.

Thinking of a paper that my uncle asked for, I wrote a database program in VB. I haven't touched VB for many years. Basically, he knows me, but I don't know him anymore. After looking for it, even the books were missing. It was really hard to find enough books when they were available. It was difficult to disobey my uncle's orders, so I decided to go to the bookstore and buy a book to review.

During the Spring Festival, a new "Wenxuan Bookstore" opened in Nanping. I have never been to it yet, so I would take this opportunity to visit it.

It feels good, and it looks a little better than Xinhua Bookstore. However, over the years, except for particularly rare books, I have developed the habit of reading books in bookstores and then going to the wholesale book market to buy books. This time was no exception. I left the book, wrote down the books and headed straight for the book market. Hehe, if the bookstore knows that I am such a troublemaker, I wonder if it will ban me next time.

Following the map, I found three books, one with a 60% discount and the other two with a 30% discount. The same thing saves twenty or thirty ocean birds.

(Bookstore narrator: Desperate!)

Moreover, I also understood a truth that I had always wondered before: There are so many books, mixed with good and bad, and they will know how to sell them no matter how to glance at them. It turns out that booksellers rely on publishing houses to discount discounts. For example, Tsinghua University Press can only get a 20% discount at most, while other Chinese and small companies discount even more. Alas, Tsinghua University is NB.
