XP settings automatic login
Before entering the Windows XP desktop, a brain login interface would appear every time, requiring us to enter a user name and password, which would increase the security of the system and provide convenience for multiple people to share a computer. However, if it is a home computer, only you can use it alone, so it is not inconvenient to password each time. We can implement automatic login for XP by modifying the registry.
Step 1: Run "regedit" to open the "Registry Manager"; run the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon ] branch in turn, then double-click "DefaultUserName" in the right window, and then enter your login user name. If there is no preset user name, you can add this item by clicking "Edit New String Value (s)DefaultUserName" in the menu bar of the Registry Editor, paying attention to sensitive case letters.
Step 2: Also under this branch, double-click "DefaultPassword" in the right window of the Registry Editor. If you do not find the "DefaultPassword" item, you can follow the above steps to create a new string value.
Step 3: Next, double-click "AutoAdminLogin" in the right window to set the value to "1". If you do not find "AutoAdminLogin", you can follow the above steps to create a new one.
Now close the Registry Editor and restart your computer, and later you will find that the annoying login dialog box is gone.
