Yesterday, the General Office of the Municipal Government issued a notice stipulating the National Day holiday and winter schedule and the holiday time of the Asia-Pacific Cities Mayors Summit.

The National Day holiday is seven days, and everyone on earth knows that things are old. The notice stated that in order to reduce the traffic pressure in the Main City and around the main venue during the Fifth Asia-Pacific Cities Mayors Summit and ensure the complete success of the meeting. There is a three-day holiday during the summit.

The 5th Asia-Pacific Cities and Mayors Summit: October 12-14 is closed for a total of three days. Holiday scope: Party, government, mass agencies and some public institutions in Yuzhong, Dadukou, Jiangbei, Shapingba, Jiulongpo, Nan 'an, Beibei, Yubei, and Banan District shall be decided independently by enterprises based on actual conditions. Among them, cadres and employees of municipal and district-level departments responsible for summit conference work, public enterprises and institutions, schools, hospitals, public transportation, electricity, gas, water, commerce, sanitation, etc. will not have holidays; Yuzhong District, Dadukou District, Jiangbei District, Shapingba District, Jiulongpo District, Nan 'an District, Yubei District, Economic Development Zone, and High-tech Zone must be suspended for 4 days from October 11 to 14.

Since it is not included in party and government agencies and some public institutions, this kind of good thing is not as old as mine.
What I don't understand is, will holidays reduce traffic pressure? I have seen too many people and traffic during the holidays. I've never seen holidays relieve traffic pressure. Don't tell me that people were required to stay indoors in those days, right?!
But literally speaking, traffic control in those days is certain. Nanping, in particular, serves as the main venue of the summit. It's better not to go out casually.
