Rambo retired after the Vietnam War and worked as a ship mechanic in Bangkok. He was once hired to escort a group of Christian missionaries into Myanmar. When some missionaries were captured by brutal Burmese soldiers, he had to lead a team of mercenaries and risk their lives to rescue them.
