Experience HP's Gold Medal Services

Sunday on February 15th, 2009Life

The computer has been broken for a few days, and the hard drive has died. Fortunately, it is still under its shelf life. I have experienced HP's gold service.

1. There are no spare parts in the service station. Send it to HP service station for repair. After testing, there was a bad track. The engineer said he would replace the hard drive, but he had to leave the machine behind before he could apply for spare parts. Strange, isn't there even a new hard drive in the station?

2. No substitutes are provided. I still had to leave the machine behind, but I couldn't, so I had to turn it around and export the data to the desktop computer.

3. The work is rough. It was required to clean the machine. When receiving it, the dust on the shaft remained. The clip of the shaft was removed but not installed. It seems that free cleaning is not very important.

4. The movements are rough. I took it back and took a closer look. The hook on the back cover of the hard drive had been broken. Guess it was caused by strong screws when replacing the back and back cover of the hard disk. However, I didn't take a careful look when I picked up the plane, so it would be useless to find him again. Although there was no impact, I still felt quite unhappy.

Overall, the hard drive has been replaced. I don't know if it was a new hard disk or it was clean, but the temperature of the hard disk dropped from nearly 60 degrees to 43 degrees. I was quite satisfied. It's just that the four words that HP advertises as gold medal services really don't match well. Disappointed.
