Troubleshooting and sharing: under win7 PE/win8 PE, use 7-Zip/WinRAR to decompress large files, indicating insufficient disk space
Sometimes I need to decompress large files under win7 PE, but I often prompt "insufficient disk space". In the past few years, I've been rebooting and re entering win7 PE, which can generally solve the problem.
However, recently, it was found that "insufficient disk space" is often prompted, which can be found with 7-Zip and WinRAR. But sometimes I don't know why? The reason has been found out these days. It may be because the software is in PE environment that such problems occur.
The solution is in win7 PE, win8 Under PE, do not drag the file to decompress, but do not select any file first. 7-Zip directly click "decompress" (or "release"), WinRAR directly click "decompress to", and then select the path, so that when decompressing a large file or a large file, there will be no "insufficient disk space", as shown in the arrow in Figure 2 below:
