China will adopt a new Internet domain name system to implement
in order to meet the needs of Internet development, according to Article 6 of the measures for the Administration of China's Internet Domain names, our Ministry has made a partial adjustment to the current Chinese Internet domain name system (.MIL category domain has been added under the top-level domain name CN). The adjusted Chinese Internet domain name system is now announced, which will enter into force as of March 1, 2006.

Chinese Internet Domain name system
1. In China's Internet domain name system, all levels of domain names can be composed of letters (Amuz Zhumamurz, case equivalent), numbers (0Mutual 9), hyphens (-) or Chinese characters, and all levels of domain names are connected with real dots (.) Use a dot or a Chinese full stop between all levels of Chinese domain names. ) connect.
2. China's Internet domain name system temporarily sets up "China", "company" and "network" three Chinese top-level domain names in addition to the top-level domain name "CN".
3. Under the top-level domain name CN, set up two types of English second-level domain names: "category domain name" and "administrative domain name".

set 34 "administrative domain names", which are applicable to the organizations of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and special administrative regions in China, namely: BJ- Beijing; SH- Shanghai; TJ- Tianjin; CQ- Chongqing; HE- Hebei Province; SX- Shanxi Province; NM- Inner Mongolia Autonomous region; LN- Liaoning Province; JL- Jilin Province; HL- Heilongjiang Province; JS- Jiangsu Province; ZJ- Zhejiang Province; AH- Anhui Province FJ- Fujian Province; JX- Jiangxi Province; SD- Shandong Province; HA- Henan Province; HB- Hubei Province; HN- Hunan Province; GD- Guangdong Province; GX- Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region; HI- Hainan Province; SC- Sichuan Province; GZ- Guizhou Province; YN- Yunnan Province; XZ- Xizang Autonomous region; SN- Shaanxi Province; GS- Gansu Province; QH- Qinghai Province; NX- Ningxia Hui Autonomous region; XJ- Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region; TW- Taiwan Province HK- Hong Kong Special Administrative region; MO- Macao Special Administrative region.
4. Under the top-level domain name CN, you can directly apply for registration of a second-level domain name.
5. No organization or individual may take any means to hinder the normal operation of the Internet domain name system in China.
