Asus Eee Storage Services
There is a label on the eeePc,160G HDD + 10G Eee Storage
160G HDD is easy to understand, but I have never understood what 10G Eee Storage is. I thought it was 10G memory, so I also disassembled the machine and studied it. Now I finally understand that it turned out to be a network storage service, which is a network disk.
After installing the Eee Storage software, there will be an additional disk called Eee Storage on your computer. The usage is similar to the previously installed Gmail network hard drive. However, there is a special feature that can set certain folders on the local disk to be automatically backed up. As long as there are updates and changes in the files in the folder, they will be automatically backed up to the network hard disk.
It's kind of interesting.
Free registered users have 1 GB of space, and Asus users have 10 GB of space (it will be automatically activated after installing Eee Storage software).
